All the Saints did was franchise him, this was Jimmy's agent trying to get his designation changed. Graham needs to thank his lucky stars he went to the Saints in the first place who utilized him in a way no other franchise would have. Payton and Brees did more for Graham and he better be thankful for that or he can go somewhere else and not put up close to what he's doing in NO.

Feel better?
Need a hug cause you sound kinda mad?
Oh and Atl NE Denver and 49's use their TE's a bit too.
We also got three years paying JG beans. So it all works out except to the JG haters.

Yes and No.

The NFLPA filed the grievance on his behalf. I'm sure he was OK with them doing it, but lets not act like Jimmy filed the paperwork.

Payton and Brees did nothing other than their jobs. Graham worked his arse off learning, working out, and doing exactly what Payton told him to do. Jimmy is solely responsible for Jimmy's success. Thats why the Saints are trying to sign him long term. If it was just Payton and Brees, Josh Hill would be the starting TE.

The NFLPA wanted this heard and a decision rendered so a precedent would be set for future arbitration of this nature. Most knew Graham was a TE, but now the players have a benchmark case to look to for future arguments.

Yeah he basically had nothing to do with it.

This is one statement I just can't believe....c'mon man...Jimmy sole purpose is to make as much money as he can for Jimmy and I can't blame him for that.....

Now get this deal done so we can go on this championship run!

Well, that's Jimmy.

But if he had taken less money to help the team, would you all be calling him stupid?

It is in Jimmy's right to try to get paid as much as he can. It doesn't make someone stupid because they value other things over money. LeBron, Wade and Bosh must all feel stupid sitting there with their championship rings. I'm not mad at Jimmy but I'd be a liar if I said I wouldn't be happier if he gave us a discount. I understand a player wanting their market value such as Brees because they deserve it but I appreciate players like Keenan Lewis who put other things over money.

I get him wanting to cash in, but I think a lot of people were put off at his claim of him being a receiver, especially when he was actually covered by a corner like a receiver, he often disappeared.

Some of that was due to his foot injury last year, but yeah, he's not quite as skilled as WR.
