that's the attitude that is the problem. There seems to be no sense of urgency. When Russia got into outer space before we did, we changed our whole school system, spent billions of dollars, and made it to the moon in a short time span.

We dominate the winter and summer olympics. We own basketball globally. Have the best baseball league in the world. We can't be awesome at everything.

There is urgency but it still takes time. We are starting to get the pieces in place that we need, just going to take time.

We had a great showing this year. Escaped the group of death and went toe-to-toe with Germany and Belgium which are two respective teams.

We are a lot better than people are giving us credit for.

Oh, I see your point. We should use our superior technical, scientific and military skills and technologies to quickly advance up the ranks of world soccer.

Well, a few well placed nukes would go a long way. Hell, having a lot of the planet in shambles paid off big for us, post WWII.
