favor. Gus wouldn't have trusted Tuco. (He was an unstable addict) Tuco was probably there to eventually take over and rival Gus
Even Gus was preparing his own contingency plan, Gail. The lab was originally built for gail so that Gus could control his own product. We know that Gus and the cartel had an acrimonious relationship.
When the cartel is killed and Gus is killed, we find out that Gus had another backer, madrigal. We know that Lydia wasn't a rogue in the company (the madrigal official commits suicide when the police go to his office). How did madrigal, the cartel, and Gus interact (pre Walter white).
I Feel there's still a lot of interesting story lines left on the table on purpose. .
I hope Better call Saul has a few episodes that add some insight on the breaking bad story (similar to the way the xfiles had the monster episodes and the conspiracy episodes).

Yeah, what im hoping with better call Saul is some info that had me wondering.
To me, I don't think his real name is Gustavo Fring. Gus always carried himself as a disciplined, sophisticated man. I believe he was from Chile. I believe he was a military man, how he carries himself, his clothes always seemed more of a uniform.
After WW2, rich Nazis fled Europe and some took refuge in south America, paying for protection. That could explain a German connection. The dictator of Chile, Pinochet, in 1986 rebels tried to kill him in his car, Didn't work. I believe he thought it was possibly an inside job.
Pinochet did not know who to trust through his dictatorship, so he ordered harsh punishments. Many wealthy military men fled north and changed their names. this is in the same time frame where Gus is in Mexico trying to take initiative.

Peekaboo coming up. One of the more disturbing episodes of the series and that's saying something.

Yeah. The previews for it look pretty heavy.

It's Sunday afternoon BB binge time again.
A couple of thoughts so far:
1- How much of a moron was that street level dealer? (I know I should know his name but it escapes me). He recognized the vans likely meant police but let the UC agent talk him out of his instincts.
2- For all his tough guy bravado, Hank succumbed to PTSD while Walt has been through so much stuff and has kept on trucking.

Walt: "so that's 41.8 pounds, call it 42 pounds." The Heisenberg later on would have never rounded like that lol

4 Days Out is such a great episode.

This episode more proof that Skyler wasn't a bitch. She was 100% dedicated and in love until he started lying and sneaking around.

Although on the one on now she seems to be getting mighty cozy with the boss.

Combo killed by Andrea's little brother while Gus' dealers watch on the side street. Love how the writers tied all these unknowns (at the time) together.
