So, what percentage would have taken the money for the treatment from the guy that stole his company and wife? Or at least taken a job from him?

I'm thinking upwards of 90% would have done one of those over cooking Meth. But then again we would have lost a great show.

Yeah, Hank kind of cringing and leaning backwards from Skyler when she was freaking was pretty awesome.

Was there ever an explanation of gus and tuco's relationship.

They both distributed for the Juarez cartel, yet at this point in the series (season 1&2), tuco seems to be the sole distributor.

In fact tuco says that no one sells meth in the valley but him.

Later gus would imply that only he sells meth in the area.

Makes me wonder if tuco worked under gus' line?

Gus shipped out of town. That was the point of having 14 restaurants.

Remember, hank and his pin board of where blue meth was. They "stopped shitting where they ate" when they teamed up with Fring.

Tuco gets his stuff from Gus. Gus is the high level distributor in the area getting all of his product from the cartels. With Tio out of the picture, I'm pretty sure Tuco works for Gus

I never caught that before. Gus was seemingly too smart to sell meth in his own area.

But then in season 3, Gus' has local street dealers selling drugs and they used that kid on the bike as lookout (one that shot combo). That could have been Gus inheriting Tuco's local drug trade.

So the cartel is distributing through Tuco? I must have had that all backwards...so Gus was a wider distributor and Tuco was local?

I believe that is what that was, since Tuco was gone Gus put some of his "trusted employees" to pick up the local cash. Didn't seem like a big operation and it wouldn't blow back on Gus. Thus using children.

In reality, hank did Gus a favor. Gus wouldn't have trusted Tuco. (He was an unstable addict) Tuco was probably there to eventually take over and rival Gus.The cartel didn't like or respect Gus..but with Tuco gone, they needed him and they hated that.

Especially when their chemists told them what Gus was slingin and what he was making.
