The answer is no.
And another point is that the U.S. just doesn't take the WBC seriously at all. Other countries do.

That's beside the point. The point is that what makes America the best at the Olympic sports is the coaching, scouting, infrastructure etc in place...not just that we have the best natural athletes. When people from other countries are exposed to that (see US baseball academies in the Caribbean) they are just as good and many times better than their American counterparts.
