To me, this is the only way to save those species. Kill a few to preserve the whole, but there needs to be very controlled management to make that work...and they don't have that.

It can be better if there wasn't so much blow back from activist. Most of the time the animal killed is chosen for management reasons, such as an older animal that won't contribute to the population anymore.

The Black Rhino is the only one on that list that is truly endangered. The rest are either vulnerable or not endangered at all.
