She'd still have to get within 40 yards to make the shot. I am not getting that close to a lion in the wild.

My pants would need changing

Guns almost weren't enough

Y'all are all a bunch of pussies. I'd shoot that lion and wear its pelt and head around town Hercules style.

This...I don't really get the shooting of these animals but I can see it as a practical way to raise revenue to protect the species.

I read that the rhino was tranquilized. I find it pretty impressive she killed a male lion with a compound bow.

hunter: "yeah"
guide: "shoot him"
hunter: "ok"

hunter: "my golf buddies will be so jealous"

this is one of those things that negatively affects he public perception of hunters and hunting. Can you do it? Sure. Should you do it? Maybe not. It's similar to the Open Carry guys at Target.

On another front, it is difficult being the father of attractive daughters. This one is good looking, hunts and has a rich daddy. I bet every hardleg in Lubbock is trying to knock that up.

Those pictures actually sicken me, but the girl is cute, though.

I don't like a high fence either, but they are the only reason the scimitar horned oryx isn't extinct.

That doesn't always make a difference when hunting the king of the beasts.

You can put that fun fact in your back pocket for when you encounter an anti-hunter who thinks all hunters do is kill without conservation in mind.

I have no issue with people hunting in Africa. The animals are generally wild and not enclosed within a high fence. Elephants kill many people each year and most of the time, from what I have read, they must be stalked on foot. I also think the plains game are every bit as hard to hunt as a mule deer and a great deal more fun.

I have no desire to hunt African game, but if someone else enjoys it, then I'm happy for them.

Would not hunt/shoot any of those.

I'm all about the Cape Buffalo hunt after reading Robert Ruark and Peter Capstick when I was younger. Probably #1 on my hunting bucket list. It's a member of the Big 5 Dangerous Game animals and its population numbers are stable unlike the rest of the list.

That said, those in the rest of the pics wouldnt trip my trigger. Like another poster mentioned, she's got at least $100,000 in game animals in those few pics...
