Area 2 Deer Season

I looked on the Wildlife and Fisheries website, but they have not yet posted the Area 2 start date for Rifle season 2014.
Anyone have any insight into when this might happen? One website i read speculated that it will be Oct 25, but that seems a week early to me.
Trying to scheduled Vacation time. Any ideas?

That's all I found. It would not be out of the ordinary for it to start that date. That's the area I hunt and I remember opening weekend being before and after Halloween.

Proposed dates from article: Area 2: Archery, Oct. 1-Jan. 31; Primitive Firearms, Oct. 18-24 & Jan. 12-18; Modern Firearms, Oct. 25-Dec. 3, still-hunt only & Dec. 4-Jan. 11, with or without dogs.
I guess the youth hunt will start on Oct. 11? That's a little earlier than normal, but it can't get here soon enough.
