Domestic beer's inside the stadium are $8.50. They are $5 at the tailgate.

So the 'beer garden' is a booth with $5 bud lights?

Yes. You pay for drinks on top of the $50 admission.

One is an 18 wheeler that explodes into a bar with 5 bar tenders. So it's larger than a booth. The other is a little smaller but it's a double decker with 2-3 servers. They will be serving bud light draft for $5. They will also have other domestics on sale.
There will also be satellite bars set up serving beverages.

sounded like a dick post. It wasn't. Appreciate the input. But they love football. Saints season tix, LSU season tix and get to Relaint once a year. They know their limitations.

No worries. We want everyone that can make it to come join in the fun. And if it hasn't been mentioned before.....the Proceeds go to LSU scholarships! So it's also for a good cause.....

A LIVE band that you'd pay $40+ to see at any venue.

You don't even know who the band is, so how do you know "you'd" (meaning me) would pay $40 at any venue.

NOLA Jazz Fest tickets run about $60 for 8 hours of music. I doubt you'll have the likes of Dr. John, Bruce Springsteen, etc.

Sorry, but I think $50 is a little pricy, particularly without beverages.

Count me OUT.

Price includes entertainment......including Tiger Band and Golden Girls. ( both free for all tiger fans to see every week) and a band that they haven't signed yet. And then a cash bar? Pass...

I didn't go to the Dallas party but I remember everyone complaining about not enough bars/bartenders.

So a group of us are discussing the possibility of attending this event but based off of what happened last year in Dallas (REALLY long lines just to buy a beer)…we’re not sure if it is worth it. That place was too crowded and understaffed to handle those attending. Can you tell us how this will be better than the Dallas fiasco?

Trying to figure out it it's BTE or the BTE foundation. Basically want I know if BTE is performing, or an acoustic set with the lead singer or something of that nature. Anyone know? Is the whole BTE foundation bit a way to get out of the HOB rider that says they cant perform within x number of miles within y number of days in the same area?

LSU Houston Alumni is a first class group. They put on great parties. I'm really excited they are sponsoring this party. They put on a crawfish boil every year for 3000+ people that is always very well run. I'd bet most of the cost involved in this is due to the high cost of renting the venue from reliant on game day.

it's 9 old people eating finger food and picking it out of their teeth for 2 hours while drink 1 and a half beers and falling asleep in a lawn chair
