Hill absolutely is underrated by our fanbase, but our offensive line more so.

Fournette has big shoes to fill but he may be even better than Hill. If we can get offensive production like we did in 2013 every year and have tough defenses like 2011...

It was. But it's expected when you're starting a true freshman against a tough Big 10 defense. Jennings struggled with identifying where pressure was coming from and he wasn't decisive enough. With Mett, LSU creams Iowa and it's not even funny, we'd put their program back a few years.

Watching this confirms that I am going to bet heavy on LSU vs. Wisconsin.

LSU was -3 last I heard.

Miles really wanted to keep this game as conservative as possible. He has to open it up a little more against Wisky. I think our D can contain them and our O can run on them and our receivers can beat the coverage, but can Jennings/Harris get them the ball?

I know I am stating the obvious but I really feel a -3 point differential is too good to pass up.

After rewatching the game, I'm pretty sure Jennings will be the starter. Aside from the 1 int, he threw the ball ok. And with the running game dominant , expect the same type game vs Wisconsin

Why does LSU put up with this nonsense

Because Jennings couldn't hit the side of a barn in this game. It was the perfect game plan.

Yeah, but it's still a win.

Ugly game in the rain. I liked the D against a bad Iowa offense, only gave up TD drives of 1/2 yd and 5 yds, plus we should've gotten credit for a sack-fumble on the second one. The O looked like the JJ years with less running. Hopefully they give Jennings one, possibly two reads, then tell him to take off next year...cuz uh, he doesn't look like a good passer yet. We're gonna miss Hill...ya know unless Fournette is the next AP, then we'll be fine.

I loved that the D was able to get consistent stops and basically shut down the running game. We couldn't do that vs TCU at the start of the season. I didn't think it was a boring game at all.

Against Ole Miss we went with a different strategy and opened it up. See how that worked out. I realize our strategy against Ole Miss isn't exactly what you would prescribe, which is best defined by: Open it up AND succeed. If this was something the coaches could simply order up I'd be right there with you.

& found another reason Brandon Harris should start this year over Jennings.

Agreed. He needed some work. Visions of JJ collapsing in the pocket all over again Hopefully if he is the starter, he's developing quickly.

He was horrible this game. If not for an insane circus catch by OBJ, he would have thrown for a whopping 51 yards.

If only he would've come back. He would have blown up this year I think.
