Pulled the trigger on a new yak! (Cuda 14 & Slayer 14.5 comparison)

A lot of yak talk on here lately, so I figured you guys could use a good head to head comparison.
I went to the Pack and Paddle Demo this morning and tried out a couple of boats. The Cuda 14 and the Slayer 14.5. It was muggy as shite, so I didn't spend that much time paddling them around. But, I did thoroughly run through multiple tests.
Speed: Advantage goes to the Cuda 14. BUT, the difference in speed with these 2 boats is very very small. Neither are faster than my Pescador 12, but they aren't slow either. This is not usually a big priority for fisherman.
Handling/maneuverability: I thought for sure the Cuda would win out here, but I have to give it to the Slayer. It turns much easier, but still tracks great.
Stability: Draw. I stood up in both of these with no problems. However, with the Cuda, I needed to use the strap to pull myself up out of the seat. Was able to easily stand from the seat on the Slayer.
Seat: Advantage is hands down the First Class Seat on the Slayer. I was actually uncomfortable in the Cuda seat. I don't know if it was just that one, but I tried adjusting it and couldn't find a really comfortable position.
The rest of the categories are really up to personal preference. The simplistic layout of the Slayer and open deck is a plus for me. Not to mention the open bow and stern compartments. The Cuda has plenty of room for storage as well.
After spending a little time in the Slayer, I was sold. Went straight to P&P and bought it.
Your experiences may vary. My opinions are based on my own experience and preference.

I'll be taking mine on its maiden voyage tomorrow. Got some work to do if I'm going to semi-rig it for tomorrow.

I really like the open layout of the Slayer. Thanks for the review

Nice review. Thanks. What kind of paddle you using?

I have a 240 cm No Limits Propel from Academy. I used a 270 cm Wave (I think) for the demo. I will be getting one. That longer paddle was real nice when the seat was in the high position.

A few more pictures....
The bow compartment seems like the best place for my tackle bag.
Box holders on the side of the seat are awesome!
Even with the seat in the low position you can store stuff under it.
I could have never fit my ice chest on my Pescador.
That oughta be good enough for her maiden voyage. Gonna mount the depth finder, maybe a rod holder, and some paddle clips to the tracks whenever I have the right gear. Speaking of, can anyone recommend what I'd need to mount my depth finder to the track system?

That yak looks like it be good for general paddling or fishing.
I'm contemplating picking up a yak for some paddling............maybe a little fishing too.
