Here's your chance.

NEW YORK (AP) — Actor Wilford Brimley is selling his Wyoming ranch, with an asking price of $1.25 million.

The 79-year-old star of "Cocoon" tells The Wall Street Journal (LINK ) he is getting on in years and it's time for him to do something else.

Brimley has owned the 276-acre ranch near Greybull, Wyoming, for about seven years.

Hall and Hall agent Randy Shelton says it includes a three-bedroom house and a two-bedroom log cabin.

Mere chicken feed for most on here.

He's 79? I thought he was older than that 10 years ago.

At that price in WY for 276 acres either he needs immediate cash, or there's something they're not saying-no road access, no electrical right of way, no water, something.

1.25M isn't that much money. Particularly for a 275 acre piece of property. But I wouldn't want to live in Nowhere Wyoming, even if it is beautiful. And apparently no one else does either, otherwise that much land would sell for a whole lot more.

I didn't think so few acres constituted a ranch. I expected to be 15,000 plus or something. I guess there was t that much money in selling oatmeal and life insurance on tv

That isn't a ranch, this is a ranch...

Only like 4.5k per acre, not including the price of the houses. Doesn't seem too bad of a deal.

I mean honestly it's not that much

Straight farmland in SWLA is 2-5k/acre. And this is land without good hunting

It already has a bid on it. Based on who is making the bid, consider it bought
