Terrible fit under Monty. He thrived in an uptempo, let it fly system after being useless in Indiana. I like him (cupcake dunk forever) but no thanks right now.

McNamara says we played at a face pace when we were healthy.

It works for me because it allows us to play Davis and Asik with a legit 3P guy, something we cannot do with Anderson.

I'm starting to change my stance on being completely against it to being for it, just for the team and the energy around the city. Lebron would never, ever, consider coming here because of the perception of our team. But if he took the time to give NOP 15 minutes of thought he'd realize he could play with Anthony Davis for the rest of his career. It's not far fetched that Davis could become a top 3 player in a year or 2, and he is exactly the skillset that compliments Lebron.

If I had to guess Lebron has given more than 15 minutes of thought to coming here, but it just doesn't make sense when other teams are in a better position to put guys around him to win rings. We would be in the top 10 on a list of teams who could do that, but that's not anywhere close enough to land him.

if the guy truly didn't want it out he wouldn't have said PM for the info and given out to just anyone who did so. The frick is even the point of doing that?

Exactly. This dude, while apparantly a legit source, is a fricking attention whoring drama queen. If you're that concerned about the information, you simply keep your mouth shut.

I can't stand people that pull shite like that. It's childish and immature, its pretty clear he intended for it to get out, if not he is simply the biggest retard in the history of retards

WHere do you think we would be if we played in the East, witht he way our lineup looks right now?

Right now, we are a playoff team in the west, no doubt, and if we aren't, and we are healthy, then Monty needs to get fired.
If we were in the east, with a lineup of Jrue, EG, Lebron, AD and Asik.... that's pretty damn good (assuming Ryno and Tyreke get shipped out to get Lebron)
I'd actually rather EG than Tyreke if we had Lebron. Despite being a vagina, he's still a very good 3 point shooter, which is what Lebron would need, not a slasher like Tyreke.

All wishful thinking on cloud 9.

RekeHavoc is not backing off his story, but he seems to personally think a Rivers trade is more likely

quote:

Yeah to be fair, all I know is that we were pursuing this deal. If I had to bet, I think a Rivers deal would probably be more likely as it's a lot simpler. As MM said it's likely going to come down to Ryan and Austin and it is a fact that one of those 6 guys has to be traded.

We'll see what happens, but what MM is saying is definitely more than speculation or guessing, honestly it's the most likely outcome.

He also said he thinks Rivers can get us a 1st. Again, not sourced, but having a source surely influences his opinion.

I really like Rivers though but I mean it is what it is,especially if it helps the team in the long run.
