Let me first start by saying I was the biggest fan of the BR food truck scene when it first emerged. My interest waned with time due to life demands, etc. It's been about 1 year since I've visited a food truck. Well, last night, I went to a wround up at Webb Park. The crowd was modest and three trucks showed up: Taco de Paco, Pulling Pork, Cupcake Allie.

Both Pulling Pork and Taco had really long wait times. People were waiting in excess of 20 minutes to get a taco made. Both ran out of food before the end of the night, despite the medium sized crowd. I didn't go to the cupcake truck but was told by others it was run like a professional organization. Taco de paco was dirty and the tacos were sloppy. The pork place smelled like a bum's cardboard box.

what is the deal with these guys? Do they just not give a frick because they can sell out food at high prices and people keep coming back? I'm done with them again for a while (unless curbside comes back).

is this a rhetorical question?

did you actually eat the food, or just mill about and pass judgment on aesthetics and smell? if the former, any review of taste? portion size?

so I guess in your opinion these people are morons who don't know they're getting ripped off? or do you think they actually have a different take on the food than you do?

I'm sure they'll live without you.

When Curbside stopped running the burger truck around in BR I kinda lost interest in the food trucks.

Tramonte's food truck has a pretty good menu. Their ribye poboy and surf -n-turf are really good. Their chicken tenders are good to...twice the size of tenders at cane's.

Cupcake chick is insane.. $3 for a cupcake about the size of a shot glass.

I've never understood the food truck fascination, here, there, or anywhere. The food is generally average, not necessarily cheap, and you have to eat standing up in most scenarios with none of the creature comforts of a real restaurant. Its basically mobile wedding food. No thanks.
