re: 3 weeks vs 4 week vacation

I find it hard to use all 3 weeks I have now 
And its not hard to figure out how to swing a day here and there 5 times. Are you going to take 4, full weeks, at various times?

I know, I will have trouble using all 3 weeks, but I want to take a 2 week vacation each year. In the future.
You need that first week to decompress and the second to relax.

my work pretty much won't let you take a vacation. I mean, they will, but they ask you not take more than a couple of days at a time. I had to agree not to take any vacation over a day for 18 months to get 15 days consecutively last year. even then, i pratically got fired when I returned.
I complained to my boss about losing vacation time (only can accrue so much), his suggestion was to take every other Monday off. I laughed at this.
