a 16 million and 26+ million viewed game both records for mens soccer. US game is 3rd most watched sporting event in last calender year after Super bowl and BCS NC game (which is basically even on the ratings).

Keeps improving and getting better. I think its amazing how many more european league games i can watch now. 10 years ago it was a struggle for the average fan to watch a game like me with Man Utd. i would be shocked now if i couldn't watch a game at home even against a shite opponent

I agree, but a lot of that also has to do with the time zone the games are being played in, the quality of games this year, and the overall quality of the tournament.

Being in the same hemisphere as the games helps.
