Julius Randle is going to have a good career IMO.

I don't know about him simply because he didn't have to show a finesse game in college. He's not 6'11 so he's not Z-Bo so that power shite isn't working. If he can hit a 17-footer, he'll be solid.

I like Randle, not saying I dont. But I am kinda worried about how his game translates to the NBA.

Hes 6'9 250lbs. His weight is great, but his height is considered "undersized" for the PF position. And hes not a great athlete running the floor or that explosive. He is really really strong for college ball and dominated mostly because he could just overpower people in college. Not sure if he can do that in the NBA.

Hes like Zach Randolph without the consistent mid range game. And he always goes to his dominant hand, left, and rarely uses his right.

Hes got a weird blend of size and skills IMO. He dribbles well for his position, but its not like he will be playing on the outside in the NBA or be asked to bring the ball up the court. Hes strong and powerful, but undersized and doesnt have that explosive jumping ability.

Im a fan of his and really like him. Its hard not to like him. He plays his arse off, fights on every possession, and is a hard worker and a good kid. I dont think he busts or is out of the NBA after his 1st contract or anything like that. Hes a "safe pick" IMO. He wont be bad, but I dont know if he will be consided "good" either. I just cant tell what kind of player he will be in the NBA. He could be like ZBo or David Lee, or he could be like a Brandon Bass.
