I see no mention of proctoring in the new syllabus for ACCT 701. Was afraid this would be the next class they would add it to. Hurray!!!!!

Ha! Proctoring in Acct 701 was the first thing I checked the syllabus for.
Excited to see so many of us are going to take this together.

Anyone know if MADM 720 has added proctoring or not? It's the last class that potentially could have proctoring of the classes I have remaining. I'm hoping ISDS 705, that I'm currently taking, ends up being the only proctored class I had to take.

What do you dislike so much about proctoring?
I haven't had a class that used ProctorU. That format sounds rather intimidating and a pain with scheduling exams and such.
I have had a few classes that used proctorio and it's almost unnoticeable other than about 3-5 minutes setup prior to taking an exam.

brent, I just don't like the hassle of scheduling, and the feeling like a little kid that needs to be watched. I understand the reasons for it but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

ProctorU is a big hassle.
First thing is scheduling. For working people, we don't know when we can take test on that working day.
Second, their support is too bad. I know that microphone, camera are working on my computer but they have technical issue from their side to make camera work. They took almost 1 hour time to fix it and kept me waiting. Also I was close to exam end time. I thought my exam was completely screwed up due to ProctorU. I heard university received lot of complaints about ProctorU not sure if they do something about it or not.

Does anyone have any course info they could send to me such as a syllabus or PDF/E-book file?
I've read through all of this massive thread and learned a great deal about the program so thanks to everyone for the information shared.
Also, does anyone know if any of the courses I'm in will be proctored? I've never used either of the proctor services and would prefer it if my first semester didn't have them but it is what it is if they do.
