Pretty sure i finished out FIN 701 with an A! Glad that one is in the rear view. Has anyone taken Fin 730 with Vines? Is it more number crunching or is it more theory of financial institutions? Seems like i remember someone saying it was one of the easier courses.
9BREES9 are you sure that Ambrosio is teaching ACCT 701 in Summer AP1? I would also like to take it in the summer but I can't find out who is teaching it.

FIN 730 is easier than FIN 701. The first 2 tests are a mixture of qualitative and quantitative, and the last 2 tests are almost all qualitative. I think the 3rd test was just about all definitions.

Yea i am not expecting an A at this point. I have heard madm 760 is one of the easiest in the program. I have the syllabus already. There is a decent amount of busy work it seems, several group projects and a final project. Im guessing the grading is pretty easy as long as you put forth the effort and complete the assignments. We have to create several videos from zoom showing the group work.

Winchester, I'm not 100% positive about Ambrosio. If he is teaching it, then I'm definitely taking it with him.
I've got 4 classes left and I actually think doubling ACCT and FIN will be the easiest session remaining.

9BREES have you heard anything about Hayati's tests? He said they're multiple choice. I wonder how many questions on each exam.

Meeks grades very easy in 760. We got 100 on all group projects and over 100 on individual writings. The term paper was the only thing I did poor on but I had an A locked up at that point and just mailed it in.
Congrats on wrapping up another session! I'll see yall in FIN 730. I'm doubling it up with MADM 715 Labor & Employment Law. Know nothing about that class but considering an HR concentration so I'll give it a shot.

Yes I just took that in the fall. Overall, I got a 92 in the class but that was mostly driven by the prac tests which you have to perfect for the exams. If you don't understand something he does hold study sessions too. Let me know if any questions on this class, I was nervous as hell taking it at first but I usually do that with every class...

Thanks Greg. When does he release the practice tests? I don't see them, but the class hasn't officially begun. Are all of Hayati's questions multiple choice? What did you make on each four of his exams?

Thanks Winchester12. I am going to hold off on the ISDS requirement for now. I do like that 705 does not require math!

Greg, I appreciate it! I second Paul Allen's sentiments and concerns. Is it basically if you understand the problems/questions on the practice tests then you should do good on the actual exam?

I thought they had to be posted on Monday after the course ends. They will probably show up tonight but I'm getting impatient.

Hey everyone! I am starting the program in May for Summer AP1. Any suggestions on classes to start with? What can I expect? I'm only a few years removed from undergrad and have a business degree so BADM 700/701 isn't required for me. Also, if anyone has class materials they're willing to share I will gladly accept them and compensate if necessary. Willing to contribute however I can to gain insight from those of you who have already started and are familiar with professors/classes. Email is username@yahoo.com. TIA!

Jeaux Cool, something that helped me was to read back through this thread and get info about each course and who to take it with and then build a tentative schedule around that information. Some classes are hard no matter what so i'll take those at certain times during the year when work is less busy. There is a lot of good info on this thread if you read back through it. As far as easy classes go I've heard that MADM 760 with Meeks is one of the easiest - I'm taking that this coming semester. If you have to take BADM 701 that was an easier class too. I took it with White.

Thanks for the advice, Winchester. I've read through a good bit of it but only the more recent stuff. Mainly looking for professors to take, ones to avoid, and any course work those of you are willing to share with me. Thoughts on ACCT 701?Looking to start with it and from what I've read it seems like it won't be too bad.
