Not going to say because of our very unique last name.
He's been on the coaching staff of a handful of state championship football teams.
His first year as a head football coach his school had a winning season. He took the HS to the playoffs the next four years in a row, and this was a school that hadn't had a winning season in 30 years.
His first LOVE is baseball & coaching and he would absolutely know how to 'handle' the parents.
Anyway..... he may even be interviewing, I don't know.

Lol you do realize this was a head baseball opening with football as a side sport, not the other way around, right? lol

Yes I do
I also realize he would be a fantastic head baseball coach.
And would be a valuable 'asset' to the football coaching staff.
He's literally 'over' qualified to be the baseball coach since he's an AD now, but could easily captain that ship over at WM.

I'm not sure, I'm no longer in the NELA loop like I use to be.
I just know my cousin would be a great fit, and like me has the love of baseball in his veins.
I'll have to ask if he has any inside scoop.

I have a feeling it'll be Wade. Just have to finish the process and Ponti was trying to scoop the story.

You think so? In the paper about an hour ago Wade said he hadn't been offered the job yet! I don't think Arledge wants to hire Wade, could be wrong though. He would be a great hire

Not really a great start for Arledge. One media outlet saying a done deal and another saying it is not. This is going to be fun to watch as I am pulling for this program to get to another level but the parents may not let it.

It's a mess over there. Parents and boosters ran this last guy out who I hear was a great coach.

In his first year Blank made it to the semifinals, knocking Barbe off along the way.
This past year, first round playoff exit with a very young team. A lot of talent coming up.
Also, facilities were very much improved during his two year tenure. Arledge has had an axe to grind with him ever since he was hired.
