Heard Rusworth (St. Fred's coach interviewed last week). Kind of quiet.

Can't post my thoughts because to be fair the guys I'm talking to loved Blank. I think WM has one of the most talented sophomore classes they've ever had, but this hire is huge. They really liked Blank and if anyone was happy he was let go it was a very select few. This hire is epic. Could turn WM baseball into a power or it could have huge negative effects on both baseball and football. I hope Arledge makes a great hire and all is well. We'll see.

I've heard Wade Semineaux's name being thrown around a lot. Odds are he gets it.

I heard it is Larry Hockett's job if he wants it. He used to be the pitching coach for the Durham Bulls.

Also hearing Shake could be a possible assistant coach with an admin job with one of the parish schools.

Arledge had the right man for the job and ran him off. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think the baseball program will ever be allowed to succeed.

Does anyone know of anybody else that interviewed? Wade and Shake seem like a pipe dream to me personally. I want to know who is a realistic candidate for the job.

It'll be an uphill battle for anyone from the things I've heard the last month.

Idk. Maybe because of the facilities and talent pool. If it's allowed to succeed, the talent is there the next 3-4 years.
