Germany plays pretty narrow and tries to control the midfield with possession and pressing when they don't have it, at least moreso than Ghana and Portugal. So do we try to match that and compact the midfield, or try to spread them out with some wide midfielders?

I kinda wish we had GAM for this one too just to basically play off Mertesacker's shoulder and make runs all game. Their backline isn't weak by any stretch of the imagination, but they're far from perfect.
