I looked, but I'm not sure I want to root mine. I ordered a new charger and micro usb and battery. I'll post on monday to let you know which one is the problem.
My micro usb does have a fair amount of wiggle when it's plugged into the phone. This may be a port problem for me.

I did the same thing with no avail. My old charger from a previous phone won't charge my S3, but work on my wife's Kindle Fire. This is what leads me to believe the problem is with the charging port. My phone is already rooted so I might try the cyanogenmod. Let me know if the new stuff works and I will let you know if I do install the mod.
