Install cyanogen mod 11 (it's an easy install where you just click buttons). Your battery life will be exponentially better. It pulls off all Samsung bloatware and TouchWiz. Additionally, it gives you the ability to turn off cellular data from the quick settings bar. You will still get calls and texts and can turn it on occasionally to check email or play stuff like Words with Friends. It gave my S3 a new lease on life. I was having battery issues and was ready to get rid of the phone.

Does this work for the verizon S3(SCH I535)?
I tried the cyanogenmod installer app and it said it was not compatible with my device.
I don'd mind rooting, but everything I've read for the verizon model with the 4.3 update said you will trip Knox or whatever it's called.
If someone has a step by step method that worked for them, please post it.

Do I need to save all my pictures offline before doing this?
