All Americans should be hoping for a German blowout
Meh, the degree in which they beat them doesn't really matter because if we get a result tomorrow Ghana is eliminated.
If we lose tomorrow, well, then we won't advance anyway.

Higher the goal differential, higher the chances that they rest people against us.

We could still advance if we loose.
If Germany beat Ghana by lets say 4, then:
Germany- 6 pts 8 gls
USA- 3 pts 0 gls (we loose by 2)
Port- 3 pts -2 gls
Ghana- 0 pts -6 gls
If we tie, then Portugal will just need to win.
Portugal to win by at least 5 goals to make up goal difference if we do win.
If Ghana wins we advance, unless they win by something like 5-7 goals to make up the goal difference.
