Where are you fishing? Closer to Florence or closer to Pickwick dam? If in Florence, drift down from the dam and use crawfish colored tubes/crawfish soft plastics or crawfish crankbaits. Becarefull with all the rocks.
If closer to the damn you will probably have better luck fishing for largemouth on the lake side. For smallmouth fish the rock faces south of yellow creek all the way down to JP Coleman state park. All you need to do it pitch crawfish jigs in any and all pockets in the rocks. The bite is extremely light.

We plan to go out of McFarland park or possibly another launch somewhat nearby. Yellow Creek would be too long of a ride for us from McFarland I think.
