I started my first ever mega build last week. Trying to build a nearly 1:1 replica of Tiger Stadium, so far I've got about 11 hours into it working off and on a couple of nights a week. I work overnight for my job so a couple of nights a week I find myself awake late night with nothing to do so I use this to fill the time.
The plan is to build the two sides of the lower bowl and then do the two endzone curves. Im still figuring out structure wise how to do the stands to get them looking as close to how they are in real life as possible.
I'm resurfacing the stands to get the shade of yellow closer to real life. Mods ftw

Finished one side of the stands, not completely happy with how it came out structure wise but its the best I can do with the tools the game gives me. Now I have to build it all over again on the other side .

Nice. I saw those when I was looking for that pic in the OP. Could see them, but it wouldn't let me save them. Didn't think about taking screen shots of them

Thats really cool. Your's is the only other Minecraft Tiger Stadium that I've seen. About how long did it take you to build yours? I'm expecting mine to take at minimum six months of playing off and on if I can do it how I want to (complete interior and exterior and the surrounding area around the stadium). I'm really not looking forward to doing the two curve parts of the lower bowl.

That's what I get for deleting them off my photobucket.

Yea, the curved parts of the bowls is the hardest part, that and doing the upper decks around the bowl.
No idea why my saves were lost.

Another concern I have is doing the interior of the stadium. Ideally I would like to be able to walk through the stadium almost like you can in real life (to a reasonable degree) but finding reference pictures of the inside of the stadium is not easy. I never took pictures of the stadium the handful of times I've been able to make it out to a game either so I dont know what I'm gonna do about that. Might have to take some artistic liberties.

Got a 4 day weekend so im gonna try to get a lot done. I can already tell the curves of the bowl are gonna piss me off if I cant get them to look good.
