Lol. What else should they do? They don't have any options.
Still need to defend the other end. And a big man doesn't exactly have to stand there and "clog the lane" whatever the frick that means
What else should they do? Play him at the position he played at his entire career maybe? Power Forward? Let him play down low like he did all the time while he was in Toronto when he was averaging 24\11??
The Heat don't need a post presence because they don't want another one. If they did they would let Bosh play down there but it puts more bodys in the paint and takes away from LeBron and D Wades game.

Defensively, idiot.
So what's the guy going to do on the other end of the court?
The Heat want to play small ball.

And Bosh is a PF that only shoots 3s and is never in the paint. And im a Bosh fan and thinks he gets a lot of undeserved criticism. Hes the 1 that sacrificed the most when he came to the Heat. But hes turned into a 3pt shooting PF, not that great at it either. Hes never in the paint, which kills the Heat in rebounding. These last 2 seasons with the Heat, hes had career lows in rebounding (6.7rebs) and career highs in 3pt attempts. Coincidence? Nope.
Bosh has gotten better, not worse. He still has a great post game and has increased his jump shooting ability tremendously since coming to Miami. THey just don't want him to post up and they play him on the perimeter. His rebounds are down as well because since they play small ball he is the center and he can't really hold his own against true centers. Couple that with him being on the perimeter the majority of the time and you see why his rebounding numbers are done.

and put who at Center? That's my point.
Do you think they are a better team when Bosh sits on the 3point line? Cause all he's done over the last 3 years if drift further and further away from the goal. His 3pt attempts are up, his rebounding is down.
At least adding a competent big man would allow them to play inside out when they wanted too and change the pace when needed. and help them defend teams like San Antonio. for as much as they might "clog the lane" on offense, they need someone to protect the rim on defense.

Whats the 1 category that the Heat rank dead last in?
Rebounding. They are DEAD LAST in the NBA in rebounding.
You are acting like they are willing to sacrifice rebounding and a post presence so they can allow Wade and LBJ room to drive. You do realize you still can do that with a post player in the paint? Small ball doesnt mean you play 5 on the perimeter.
You dont see the problem with that? Particularly the last 2 sentences? They play Bosh at Center, yet he cant hold his own against legit Centers. Makes a lot of sense. Lets take 1 of our best players and put him at a position where he cant hold his own. They take him out of the paint and put him on the perimeter, which takes away what Bosh is best at. Which is being in the paint, post moves, finishing around the rim, and his mid range game.
You can still have Bosh in the paint / mid range area and allow Wade and LBJ to drive and create and get to the rim. Its not like were saying put 2 guys on each block and they dont move. You can play small ball and still have 1 guy in the paint / mid range area.
