And LBJ is great at ball handling. But thats also why I think they need a legit PG... that way LBJ wont have to do everything and have the ball at all times. Im in no way a Heat fan... but I do feel for LBJ. He left Cleveland because he didnt have any help. He gets to Miami... and nothings really changed. He still has to lead his team in ppg, rebs, assists, steals, and guards the other teams top player just so they can have a chance at winning. He pretty much has to be near a triple double for them to have the chance at being successful.

He is the best player on the planet and it's not debatable. LBJ either needs to be the offensive post player that he should be and they get a good option at the point or he should move back to the point and spend the money on an inside player (not just a big, but someone to bang on the inside and not hang out on the 3 point line).
As for the last line that I quoted, he needs to average near a triple double because that is what the best do. All this reducing of LBJ's roles talk in the tread are ridiculous. My opinion, he needs to do more. He has stated he wants to be the greatest ever, and he should start with either being a post presence on his team or making sure they get one.

To all of yall saying the Heat need a big center to clog up the middle... You obviously don't know shite about how the Heat and how they play.

They don't need a guy who can only play near the rim, because that clogs the paint which is where D Wade and LeBron do their best work. Why do you think they moved Chris Bosh to Center and have him playing on the perimeter??

The Heat just need some better bench players.

In a perfect universe. D Wade would become a 6th man and they could get an above average SG to take his place who can actually play some good defense and hit a 3 every now and then. But that's not gonna happen

He still would be able to get ridiculous numbers though... thats the thing. I never said anything about reducing his role... all I said was take the ball out of his hands a little bit more, allow him to play off the ball and run off of screens / post up more. at the notion that "the best average a triple double because thats what they do." MJ averaged 6rebs and 5 assists... is he not the GOAT?

Again, Im not saying reduce his role. Im saying giving him a legit PG that can create for himself and for others would allow LBJ to not always have the ball in his hands, which would allow him to post up / run off screens / playing off the ball. Which he is great at. He still will be having the ball PLENTY. If anything, his ppg would go up, rebs stay the same or go up. And he would still get 5 assists a game because thats the type of player he is.
