I went with Sec. 401, Row 26 seats 1 - 4. Also, I liked the TAF donation ($260 per seat) vs. the $210 per seat I paid for Section 417. I was in Section 417, Row 31 last year and had 2 and 2 (with 4 seats in between) (Seats 23, 24, 29 and 30) that I gave up. I was always able to sit all 4 together thanks to the other fans in our row. I liked those seats, but Section 417 was one of the last places for the sun to go away for afternoon games. It was also colder when the wind blew in November.

There are still a lot of seats (several 4 together) in the lower south bowl and upper south bowl. I was trying to avoid rows 30 - 34 in the lower south because of the overhang.

I also have 2 club seats in the new South Endzone that I hope to enjoy.

Wrong, there will still be a lot of visiting fans at the bottom.

I go Friday morning. I was optimistic until today. It seems like they were flying off the board today. Very few in the North Endzone and the Lower South is going quickly. I sat in the lower south two years ago for a game and I wouldn't want to be below row 10.

My biggest hope now is that more open up around me in the Upper South so that I can just add to my current seats.

WacoTiger,

Cool, It's always nice to have 4 together!!

Much better then having 2 ...&... 2 Then have the hassle to ask those in between to accommodate ya.

I had 4 on the asile in 417 on row 35 about 4 years ago, It wasn't a bad view at all. Its just a different perspective watching the game from there.

2 Club seats in the new South Endzone Nice!!

They only moved 1500 visiting fans to the new upper deck. There will still be fans in the south endzone.

I looked on the site before anyone started picking. You could tell that there would still be visitors seats in the lower bowl. All SEC teams do this so that the BIG donors can sit with fellow big donors and not have to watch from the rafters. Since 2000, the number of visiting seats in the lower bowls have gone down considerably. It was about time the LSU made more visitors go sit up top.

It's to the point now with away games that I don't even apply through LSU any longer -- with the exception of Alabama. I'd rather take my chances on the open market or right outside the stadium. At least I don't have to sit in the upper decks.

Broham & MMauler

Your right , There will still be Visitor seating in the south endzone.

Below row 28 in section 403 & 404. Some in 402 as well.

LSU Really Screwed up by not giving tickets in 402, from row 17 and up to 21 to LSU Fans instead of visitors. They decided to give us those at the bottom corner of 405. Rows 8 to 14.

Sidenote:

Tradition Fees in 405 = $210 x 140 = $29400
Tradition Fees in 402 = $260 x 145 = $37700

Not sure of that. If I had to guess it would be around 5pm.

Benefit of working for LSU that I enjoy tremendously is being exempt from the Tradition Fee for up to 2 tickets!

I'm Glad mine was today. Although I lost out on some Monday and Tuesday that I had my eyes on... I Got 1 nice surprise at what opened up 20 minutes before I picked today.

All in all, I adjust 3 sets of seats.

All I know is that it will be hard for visiting fans to sit in 401, 402, 403 and 404 with the new season ticket holder seats that are open in those sections. My biggest mistake - I thought I signed up to purchase 4 additional tickets and found out I only signed up to upgrade my 4 current seats. I could have gotten 8 tickets together (same rows, 4 and 4 back to back, etc.) in the Lower South Bowl in the old visitor sections and that would have been fun. This was the year to do it and I screwed up. Still happy with what I got.

Crap my bad, actually in 405, not 415! These are for my best friend and his family anyway...he's been on the waiting list for 8 years and never gotten to buy tickets, so I'm getting them tickets. I'll be right above y'all in the new South upper
