Echoes a lot of what my gf says. You can probably tell through my post history that I'm not the happiest guy in the world but a lot of that is self imposed. I beat myself up for shite I can't control and unless I recognize it, it's the cycle starting all over again. All I want for them now is to be good kids who show love others regardless of circumstance.

I haven't e-stalked you enough to pick up on that. Generally, we are by far our own worst critics/judges.

You can't be a better person yesterday. But you can today.

I heard a story/proverb about an old man who on his death bed was asked: if he could go back and live all over again as anyone, who would he be? He said: I'd be the man I could have been, but wasn't.

That kinda lines me out every now and then.

Anyway, yard work and battery life are dictating that I bow out. So, enjoy your time with your little ones.

Eta Damn premature submission (story of my life).

I swear that's been my mantra lately, one day at a time. shite overwhelms me so easily now, if I think about yesterday's frick pjs and tomorrow's consequences I'm fricking up the present even worse. I try to find something positive in everything, even tragedy now, in my life. If I do that, I feel like it's just a matter of time before it comes together
