Not so single ones also. But foR me, since I don't get to be with my boys every day, getting those sweet couple of days with your kids to celebrate and be a family is the best gift I could ask for after the last couple of years. Enjoy those babies, gentlemen, they fricking adore you

Never fun being a single dad. But always great to spend time with my son. Especially when it's at a game in Tiger Stadium. Happy Father's day guys.

It's tough, change sucks and we struggle with it's inevitable victory while knowing it's a losing battle, yet continue to fight. I do my best to find the positive spots in the bleak parts of my life. The first time I picked my kids up for "our time" we took one of those pics like my avatar. Every weekend I've picked them up since for almost two years now they immediately beg to take one so it's our little unofficial "hey, missed you too, man" moment
ETA: it's little things like a car selfie with my kids that I get to look back on and smile when I can't hug them instead. I know everyone is different but this little ritual seems to give them, and me, that one extra little "thing" together

Dude exactly, idc, they're beautiful kids and I'm proud as frick of them. Idc what any of you think of me, that'd make me an absolute idiot. I know some of you, some I've met IRL in the past, I don't expect everyone to throw roses at me but this is me and my boys thing and right now, it makes myself and those boys happy. If me sharing that bothers anyone, that must really to have that temperament

I think that little ritual will prove at some point to have been more important than even you realize now.
Memories often originate from otherwise mundane places.
I can still smell the inside of that 85 Sierra, and re-live vividly the memory of climbing in it every other Friday afternoon. I always will.
