Career stats
I'm not sure if you can look at his stats and compare it to today's numbers.
I just looked at some stats and Bobby was in the top 10 in a few different categories throughout his career. Looking at the passing stats in the 80's and 90's is such a big change compared to today's stats. Still doesn't mean he was great. Just that he wasn't as bad as some in this thread make him out to be.

I think for me, it was a back and forth on who to blame for the lethargic offense, Hebert or Carl Smith. And I'm not saying Hebert was total crap, but it was a shame we couldn't accomplish more with that defense.
NFLN did a top......whatever number they do on LB corps, and the Dome Patrol ended up being number one. One of the talking heads, I think some journalist from Oakland, was griping about that decision, claiming they shouldn't be there because the Saints never won anything. "F*#@ you, man. That's on our offense, not them." Kind of made me like Bobby even less.

I think his supporting cast on offense hurt his numbers and the conservative play calling. The kid was tough as nails he took some hellish hits and got right back up.
I remember when we signed him theLa. 1 bayou community was so proud of that South Lafouche Tarpon
When I got off the boat in Leeville that day I went across the street to that whole in the wall bar and drank. We partied for days on the bayou.

I love Bobby. I couldn't imagine listening to saints radio without him and Deke.
Sometimes I like Deke and then sometimes I hate the SOB. Can't make up my mind.
I think Bobby and Jim McMahon should do a radio show together. NO one would know what the frick was going on.
