I read somewhere that he met with a recruit during the dead period at some public restaurant and a Miami fan recognized them, took a picture, and turned it in to the NCAA.

That is the story being talked about on various ESPN shows. Joker took this player out to eat at a major restaurant during the dead period & was spotted, photographed & turned in to the NCAA by Miami. One talking head said he spoke to numerous HC's around the country & they all said this was so flagrant & such a major violation ..entertaining a recruit during the dead period...that they all would have turned him in as well. He said more than a few coaches called it incredibly dumb on Joker's part.
