When did I say Rivers and Rettig were better? I said they left because LSU is going in a different direction. I think that makes sense as to why they left.

Or they left because they realized pretty quickly that Harris and Jennings are just better? And both are really young, sophomore and a freshman.

If youre Rettig and Jennings is already ahead of you, and then Harris comes in as an EE and pretty much immediately jumps ahead of him... why would you stay to be a QB3 for your entire college career when you can transfer and have an opportunity to start somewhere?

I dont think its that we are going in a different direction when it comes to what kind of QB we like, I just think Harris and Jennings are better than both and are still extremely young.

Bingo.

Cam Cameron has and is going to bring some scheme stuff to LSU that we haven't had in awhile. However, people act like we are running an entirely new offense. Les is still the HC and he still likes to be a "best player" friendly offense, not just Dual Threat guys and not just Pocket passers.

Maybe the offense they plan on running this year doesn't fit their skill set.
