Back in college, I was a hitting partner for a member of the tennis team. I learned real quick about taking care of groin muscles. Pulled a groin really bad and the poor bastard didn't get up for almost three weeks. Being a kid at the time, that was grounds for depression. Wait a minute ..... fast forward 35 years .... it would still be grounds for depression. You learn to take care of yourself better to avoid those mishaps.

You have to do that with a lot of them after they have had a radical hystrectomy. You really have to work at assurring them that they are still just as much a woman now as before, and that you are still wanting them as much now as before. Not always easy and does take some effort. When they don't respond physically like they did before, you have to have a lot of patience with each other and re-explore things. I have seen some emerge from it ok, and some not.
