IMO, yes.
I haven't seen much backlash from USL fans about this. A fan base that wants to win would have been calling for his head.

I did not understand trying to steal 2nd with the tying run at the plate, nor trying to score the guy on the double when they could've had 2nd and 3rd with two outs.
IMO they played scared and desperate, when in reality they were the home team playing in their own ball park.

I didn't understand pulling Hicks out so early. He works fast and pitches strikes, at least give him an inning to settle in and see what he's got.
