Neither are nearly as important as a capable GPU. I can help you, but before we even get into this, what is your budget? If it's not realistic, you are not going to be happy with the 'gaming' experience of a laptop.
I assume you want the laptop because you travel a lot. Otherwise, you're throwing your money away on an underpowered machine.

I am thinking anywhere from 1000-1500. Yes, I would like to bring it with me when I travel.
