I would argue that Texas remembers it's history just as much, if not more, than any other state.
Go to small towns like Gonzales, TX and see all of the "Come and Take It" cannon flags everywhere and the annual festival they have celebrating their history. That's just one of hundreds of small towns in Texas that celebrate their past and the contributions to its history the people there made. And its hard to forget about those people named when nearly every major city in Texas is named for one,![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)
