Group G vs Group D

Am I the only one who genuinely thinks this group is more difficult than Group D, and that it's really not that close?

D is the tougher group IMO

Based off rankings it's Group D, but Group G and B both have a claim to it. Honestly I would say it's Group B. Poor Australia.
Edit: I just realized that the title wasn't "Group of Death", but a comparison between D and G. I would say G is the tougher group, but B is the best overall.

Group G is the only group where ALL four teams advanced to the knock-out stage last World Cup.
That makes it the toughest, imo.
If you replace Costa Rica with us, Group D becomes the toughest.
