Very nice speech by Obama.

"If prayer were made of sound, the skies over England that night would have deafened the world."

Great opening line.

Him honoring veterans days after slapping them in the face by negotiating with the terrorist to get a traitor in return.

Did he tell anymore bullshite tales of his father fighting in WWII, even though he was only like 5 years old?

Maybe Obama highlighted his own brave service in the Kenyan Cavalry.

Did he regale the crowd with a blow by blow description of the night he dove out of a helicopter with nothing but a knife clenched in his teeth, and personally killed bin Laden?

Bully for Obama. He did what was expected of the President of the USA on the 70th Anniversary of D-Day. He deserves another Nobel Prize!

The American people should be embarrassed that this lump of shite is the president.

That was a great speech. Whether you agree with his politics or not, the intent of the speech should be heralded by all Americans.

I didn't watch the video....just can't stand to hear the guy's voice any more.

But did he apologize to the Germans?

Nice words.

What are his deeds?

Remember when he 'honored' them by barricading the WWII memorial on the mall?

The man is a bag of poo as a president but he gave the expected speech, the words were nice, the delivery well done. Only time I've listenef to him speak since this election bc he makes my stomach turn. However, I don't think anyone can watch the speech and find fault in the speech, itself.

Great speech. Most of the Obama vitriol on this board and from the people I have talked to personally comes from a place of deep seated fear and racism.

Obama doing what he does best on the world stage.

Make America and himself look like idiots. Selfies at funerals. Chomping on gum at solemn ceremonies.

quote:

Obama was caught on camera chewing gum while clapping during the welcome for Her Majesty the Queen. He kept chewing throughout the ceremonies, also managing to anger France. French twitter blew up (not to mention British and American reaction):

Obama acting classes, as usual
