Just wanted to report back for any that have this issue:
Called Samsung and they wouldn't do a damn thing...said they no longer cover that problem.
So ordered repair kit off Amazon for $18 and Saturday my brother in law and I installed the new parts....very easy and took us about 20 min, mostly from just undoing the screws. TV wouldn't even come on anymore, but now comes on like it used to.
