Although this is true...look how many balls were caught within 20' of the fence...now they say these new baseballs that will be used could put 15-20' onto a fly ball so those id considered off the wall or gone...i think if we have the majority of our underclassmen stay we will be just fine

This is the point he's trying to make. We're trying to hit the ball 8 miles and these balls turn those shots into outs. So why does every kid keep trying?

You'd have thought that after UCLA they would have learned, but no.

That first Stony Brook game ruined the post-season success of this program. Now the kids think they can hit back to back to back any time they want and don't know how to mount a comeback against these weenieball teams anymore.
