The key for you is the washing process. You have to avoid micro scratches. Wash the bottom of the car ( and the wheels) with a separate wash mitt. Change the water and use a clean mitt for the rest.

Any of the products mentioned will work well, especially if you clay first.

Modern clear coats are extremely durable, but any dark color is going to show swirls and minor scratches. Avoid them if you can.

Zaino, great for black if you apply several coats. Mirror finish. Also I agree with above post, use separate mits to avoid dirt particles and wash up and down or side to side ( daniel son) do not swirl.
