Yeah, there are jerks here but I generally ignore them although sometimes they give me a laugh.
I grew up in Lafayette but was always more of an LSU fan than a USL fan. Back in the 70s and 80s there wasn't much to cheer about as far as USL athletics save for the Andrew Toney years.
Football games were not even close to being sold out.
LSU always had the bigger footprint, was on national TV and recognized nationwide, while nobody knew who the Ragin Cajuns were. Too many ULL fans have the "little brother" syndrome and need to get over it. I've never seen that in you, Mattwells90.
Appreciate your contributions to the RB!
I'm sure many Louisiana fans pull for ULL and LSU. I'll pull for the Cajuns until they play LSU, in fact I'll pull for any Louisiana team until they play LSU. Many of us are fans of both and it is not one or the other.
Ultimately this is a game being played by young men. This is not life and death, unless someone was stupid enough to bet their house on ULL vs JSU.

Cajuns lived off their one great pitcher and great hitting all year and of course a soft conference schedule. They are a good baseball team but as I warned their fans weeks ago...you have to beat the SEC if you are going to be truly great. Post season I mean. That was a devastating loss for them. And for some reason they are terrible at home. They were never a #1 ball club because of that but definitely top 16. Too bad for them...
