What are the other advantages of rooting?
full access to your phone, think of it like hitting the "allow" button on an Apple or Windows computer when you are going to install something, but rooting you are basically pushing the "allow" button.

Things I should do after rooting?
Open Garden, custom Kernal, overclock processor and memory, and much more
The biggest thing you can do is install a custom ROM, these are amazing, and will usually allow you to be an Android version ahead of everyone else with your phone, "usually". (this isn't always the case, but most of the time is) All the while you have ROMs that have completely removed the bloatware, so you are running faster, more optimized, and you are on a version higher than other people.

Things I should be sure not to do?
Go at your own pace, don't do anything you are uncomfortable with, but make sure to push past your timidness as well, it's worth it, and once you push the button you will never want to go back.

Thanks! Are those custom roms difficult to install? I'm gonna do all this Monday once my stretch at work is done.
