re: Anyone at Northwestern When Jim Croce's Plane Crashed?

After the crash we called him Jim Crashe. Had a friend whose brother worked at the airport at NSU. They have a aviation program there. He said befor the NTSB arrived, the pilots seats were gone and my friend said they were at some Frats around campus. Twenty some odd years later when I was in the restaurant business one of my liquor salesmen was the president of the student council/govt at that time. Croce was suppose to perform earlier but was sick and had to cancel. He promised he would return and do the show and dead, I mean did. The story was on pbs once I believe.
