Korn's first album was pretty good, but Life is Peachy pretty much killed my fandom

System of a Down isn't really nu metal.

Static X got lumped in with nu metal because of timing. They were more industrial.

When I think Nu Metal, I think POD, Korn, and Limp Bizkit. Those are bands I am content never hearing ever again.

I wouldn't say that about Korn. I enjoy their unique loose string/heavy bass sound. Though, their "Paradigm Shift" album when they experimented with dubstep was pure dogshit.

I actually don't mind Static X. I thought WDT was a cool album.

Follow the Leader was their best IMO

Agreed. Not at all. It
is in same category of sound as Tool.

Agree again. They were more like Skinny Puppy and Ministry. The lead singer would sometimes have moments of Nu-rock style, but overall they were anything but. The first batch of cd's released for Wisconsin Death Trip even said "Ministry meets White Zombie".

Korn's debut album was very impressive. POD is one of the worst "bands" I have ever heard and yes, I bought the cd to prove it (I have outgrown them). Limp Bizkit...Jesus did I envy them, because they were so overhyped and so rehased, it made me think that my friends and I could be them. Durst knew the right people (KOrn) and before you know it, a very average band was making headlines. Bizkit is one of the worst of that group.
