As to the soul magnets, you missed it. They were actual magnets of some sort. They stated that Bell gave them to Olivia in the tea she drank.
September was up the stairs watching the transaction. You didn't see the person receiving the blood sample. The reveal was that the doc gave them to Evil Lab Guy.
quote:Nope.
I don't know. Didn't the doc who stole the blood give it to September? And then we later saw the same blood sample being handed to Walter from Brandon? Brandon had to have gotten it from September at that point, no?

bump to get discussion going again.
my comments on episode 16. I hope to be up to episode 18 by Thursday before the saints game.
I loved how Walter started high in this episode, there is something about Walter on drugs that makes this show more enjoyable.
Something I thought while watching it. So Bell is very protective of all of his stuff but Walter can easily go into his office and take stuff out no questions asked. Maybe not such a big deal but it caught my eye.
The monster of the week wasn't that exciting it was pretty boring. They defy gravity, so this guy can fix his son, really? Who cares, it seems like this is a way that the show wanted to have some filler for Walter to activate bell's soul magnets.
I found it interesting that they got all metaphysical talking about souls, conscious how it goes on after death, ect. But than they made it to scientific. Metaphysically it is impossible what could have happened but whatever this is a TV Show.
Note: if you have no brain activity you can't possibly have a conscious, I believe a soul lives on after death not consciousness.
I know you guys brought up the problem of putting the microchips in the tea way back than. I think it is something that is absorbed into the blood, just like alcohol, yes that wears off but maybe these chips never go away just like cortexphan never goes away once you take it. (I don't think)
Many of these episodes feel like filler when it comes to the biggest part of this season, The Machine. The inception style episode was awesome but right all filler.
Next two episodes no later than the saints game.
