Peter past after he was taken from over there, doesn't matter to much, because he goes off and lives his own life, walter goes to the mental institution and the world is pretty quite with all of the pattern stuff (well sorta). It would have been cool I guess gut wouldn't add much to the plot of the show overall.

erasing peter from the timeline was the worst decision they ever made. You were developing a good system of Characters, than you change that to something different in season 4. (they didn't change characters but how the characters acted changed)
